Networking toolkit
Keep every professional contact in Koubia in one private list — where each conversation stands, when to follow up next, and a message ready to send. AI helps you write it; you decide what goes out.

No AI needed. “Use” fills in the name and company of the person you picked.
Import contacts from a CSV file
Any spreadsheet saved as CSV with a Name column (or First Name + Last Name). Also read: Email, Phone, Company, Position, Stage, Priority, Next follow-up, Notes. LinkedIn's “Connections” export works as it is. People already in your list (same name and company) are skipped.
Export
Download your contacts as a CSV file that opens in Excel, Google Sheets or Numbers — including stage, follow-up date and notes.
Your contacts are private to you. They are saved to your own Expertini account so you can see them on any device and in the Expertini app. Employers, recruiters and other users never see them, and Expertini never contacts the people in your list.
How to network for a job without feeling awkward
Many roles in Koubia are filled through people who already know someone at the company. Networking is not asking strangers for jobs — it is a series of small, specific conversations, followed up on time. This toolkit keeps the list, the dates and the words in one place.
1. Make a short list
Start with people who already know you: former colleagues and managers, classmates, people you met at events. Then add a few people at companies you would like to work for. Ten well-chosen contacts are worth more than a hundred names.
2. Ask for something small
“Could I ask you three questions about your team?” gets more replies than “Do you have any jobs?”. Be specific about what you want, keep it short and make it easy to say no. The Messages tab has templates and an AI writer for each kind of message.
3. Follow up — once
People are busy; a single polite follow-up after about a week is normal. Set the next follow-up date whenever you log a contact and the Follow-ups tab tells you who is due. If there is still no reply, move them to Dormant and try again in a few months.
4. Say thank you and keep in touch
Thank everyone who helps, and tell them how it turned out. When you are ready to apply, plan your applications and prepare with interview practice.
Who can see my contacts?
Only you. Your contacts, notes and templates are saved to your own Expertini account (so they also appear in the Expertini app). Employers, recruiters and other users cannot see them, and Expertini never messages the people in your list — you send every message yourself.
What does the AI message writer do?
It drafts one short message for the purpose you choose — an introduction, a follow-up, a referral request, a thank-you, a request for an advice call or a reconnection — using only what you type. If you leave “How you know them” empty, it is told not to suggest you have met or spoken before, and drafts that do are rejected. Read and edit every draft before you send it. Each draft uses one AI request: Free includes 1 a month, Premium 25 and Executive 100.
Can I import my LinkedIn connections?
Yes. Download your data from LinkedIn (Settings → Data privacy → Get a copy of your data → Connections), then choose the Connections.csv file under Import & export. The file is read in your browser and only the contacts you add are saved.
I used the old networking toolkit — where are my contacts?
The old version kept contacts and templates in your browser only. Sign in on the same browser and the page offers to move them into your account.
